  • Big Law attorneys largely shied away from donating directly to Trump's campaign and main fundraising arms, but there were still some prominent examples.
  • Meanwhile, Big Law attorney donations to Biden's campaign were more common.

Lawyers and lobbyists are among the top 10 donor industries for both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden’s presidential election campaign, with each oneattracting donor support from lawyers at all sizes of firms.

Buta review of Federal Election Commission data highlights that individual lawyer contributions to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and his main fundraising arms are heavily composed of lawyers who are self-employed or working at small or midsized law firms. Still, some donors from Big Law pepper Trump’s donor list.
